IF SOMEONE CHOKES
When someone chokes and can not breathe, they quickly panic. They can neither cough nor ask for help, but turn blue. Usually it is another person in the party who has to call for attention and help.

DARE TO ACT!
It is not unusual to experience fear and panic if someone you meet can not breathe. But knowledge gives the power to dare to act and it can save lives.
What to do if you are first on the scene and an adult or a child choke and can not breathe.
THE ADULT WHO CANNOT BREATH
1. Tilt the person forward so that the head comes down.
2. Hit 5 blows high up in the back.
3. Stand behind the person and take a hug a little above the waist. Make 5 strong abdominal presses inwards / upwards.
4. If the person is lifeless, start CPR and call 112
CHILDREN WHO CANNOT BREATH
Adjust the force of the blow and pressure according to the size of the child.
1. Put the child in your lap.
2. Tilt the child forward properly.
3. Give 5 strokes in the back.
4. If the child is a little bigger, you can try to give abdominal pressure.
