WELCOME TO SAFETY FIRST EDUCATION ABOUT ALCOHOL AND DRUGS WITH CO-WORKERS
Using alcohol or drugs during working hours is a serious safety risk and creates great insecurity among staff. The problem exists in many workplaces and a clear policy with rules and consequences can be a way to deal with this. The knowledge that you are doing the right thing if you inform your boss when a co-worker is abusing is extremely important. All abuse needs to be investigated to get the right treatment. The company has an obligation to help with this. The following parts are included:
- How can you act if you suspect abuse among employees.
- What does the company's alcohol and drug policy mean?
- What can happen if you are affected while you work.
- What does it mean that the company has a rehabilitation responsibility.
- Your obligations under the Alcohol Act.
This course takes about 15 minutes to complete and ends with a knowledge test. Good luck with your education!
